Jay Perez is an American Tejano musician, who is known for his mixing of Rhythm and Blues with traditional Tejano music. Initially a drummer, he became a leading vocalist for Latin Breed and David Lee Garza y los Musicales. Perez began a solo career in the early 1990s[1] and has released several solo albums. He has also won several Tejano Music Awards.[2] To his fan base, he is known as “The Voice”. Jay Perez started off his musical career as a drummer. He was then asked by fellow musician Oscar Montemayor (David Lee Garza y los Musicales) to sing a song; Oscar then got him an audition withthe Latin Breed.


ISABEL MARIE “FALLASTE CORAZON”

Though Reyna was born in San Antonio, she was raised in Mercedes, Texas. At home she was both saturated with and deeply influenced by the sounds of tejano and norteño groups including La Mafia, Grupo Mazz, and especially Laura Canales.

So bright in fact that he was signed to his own high profile solo recording contract. Selena often opened shows for him and it was Ram Herrera on the bill with her at the now famous concert at the Houston Rodeo depicted in the Selena movie. Now, in the middle of his career, twenty years and twenty four records later, Ram’s new “Ingrata” CD is nominated for a La tin Grammy Award.

He sang salsa as well as Latin Jazz. He sang Pedro NavajaCosmic Girl and Al Jarreau’s Spain.

MARIO MACIASPLAY BOTTON Mario is the 2013 Tejano Idol winner this title was given to him by the Tejano Music Coalition. He loves to sing this is his passion. He sings a variety of genres which makes him a unique entertainer singing mariachi, tejano, country, latin hip-hop, bachata and R&B. Mario recently was able to perform at Carnegie Hall this summer in New York at a mariachi competition where he placed third. He was honored to be able to meet Irma Infante one of the judges, who was the daughter of a great legend Pedro Infante.
